In 2020, Facebook launched its most significant governance initiative to date: the Oversight Board. Functioning as a "Supreme Court" for social media, the Board was designed to adjudicate the platform’s most complex content disputes. In partnership with Nomad Studios, I was commissioned to direct a film that demystified the Board’s origins, rigorous working practices, and long-term intentions for both a global public audience and internal stakeholders.
